The Gynecology Clinic at Skåne Central Hospital Kristianstad is a specialist clinic within the VO Obstetrics and Gynecology. We offer gynecological specialist care, reproductive health, abortion services, and follow-up and support for patients who have been subjected to sexual abuse. Our team consists of doctors, midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, and secretaries working closely together to create safe, professional, and accessible care.

The Central Hospital in Kristianstad (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified staff, with approximately 2,600 dedicated employees. CSK combines the resources of a large hospital with the closeness and community of a smaller one. The hospital offers residents in the catchment area care with short waiting times across all specialties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a midwife with us, you will work with patients with gynecological issues. The role includes your own clinic, abortion services, contraceptive counseling, support in reproductive health, and follow-up and support for patients who have been subjected to sexual abuse. You will also work with telephone counseling and handle various cases in 1177. You are also expected to actively participate in improvement work and the development of the clinic's routines to ensure high-quality and safe care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed midwife with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. It is a requirement that you have language skills in Swedish that at least correspond to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, as well as basic IT skills. Experience in gynecological care, abortion services, or working with victims of violence and abuse is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have experience with the medical record systems Obstetrix, PASiS, and Melior.
